Final scratch
What did i do?
To complete my scratch i have used the knowledge and skills i have gained from the first scratches that allowed us to explore. I used the same idea as my storyboard but this time added sound.At the end i was very proud with the effort and was very proud with the final product. I have used most of the coding blocks to complete my project in the best and most interesting way possible.
What did i enjoy?
I really enjoyed making the scratch as it was an extremely new and unique experience. It was the first time i actually had to use coding to complete a task . I also enjoyed this project as we had to explore new things and this was one of the most things i enjoy doing.
What did i find difficult?
The most thing i found difficult was making the background music go for the whole time, at the beginning i didnt know what code box i needed to use but after many tries i found it out and finally made the background music work.
What can i improve?
I can make my sprite do more movement and loopings.

Storyboard criteria B
Reflection:
What did i do?
I went on the website called storyboard that; this is a website that allows you to make a story board online and this was very helpful for me and many others as some people are not very good at drawing and coloring. I then made my main character talk about a big social issue, water pollution.
What did i enjoy?
I really enjoyed this task as it was new for me and i had to be creative and this is what i like. i also enjoyed making the story itself as it improved IT skills.
What did i find difficult?
I didnt really find anything difficult, the biggest difficulty in my case was actually make the story itself. At the beginning i didnt really know what to talk about but after some time of thinking i decided to talk about water pollution as it is a big social issue all around the world.
What worked well?
Adding backgrounds, characters and text worked very well for me and i faced no problems at all while completing them.
What can i do next time?
Next time i can talk about an actual story not a speech as it can make it more interesting and nice to others.

First slide:
In the first slide my character is talking about a social issue; water pollution in his school assembly which is placed in the school theater. He is introducing his topic and telling people about what he is going to talk about.

In the second slide my character was introducing his topic. He was still in the theater background.

The character stands behind a polluted sea in the background. Shows people an example of water pollution.
Fourth slide:
The character stands behind a clean sea background. Shows people an example of unpolluted/clean water.

Technology and the UAE national agenda

Happiness index:
Cohesive society and preserved identity is one of the pillars of the UAE national agenda. Happiness index is a part of this. Technology can be very useful when it comes to checking peoples happiness. The UAE can make an online survey that asks people about how happy they are, how good the services are and if they are enjoying their time in the UAE or not. After getting the results the UAE can find out the problems are facing and try solving them. The UAe wants to be among the top 5 countries in the world in happiness index so this can be very important and helpful in achieving this part.
Safe public and fair judiciary:
Average response time to emergencies:
Safe public and fair judiciary is another pillar of the UAE 2021 national agenda. Average respoce time to emergencies is a part of this. This indicator measures the time it takes to respond to emergencies in all regions of the UAE. The UAE is targeting to be able to solve any emergencies in maximum 4 minutes. Th UAE can put cameras in all the roads so that the ambulance, police and firefighters can have a live stream of all the roads and quickly detect any emergencies so that they can move very quick instead of having to wait for a call. They can have more police, ambulance and firefighter stations so that they can reach anywhere very quickly and fix the problem, accident and emergency.

Peer evaluation for tech fair
Group: Omar, Mayukh, Daniel.
Product: Bumblebee a voice controlled robot
What was the project about?
The project was a voice controlled robot called bumblebee. They made the robot using pieces (kits) and then to make the robot look nice they added a colourful body. They also made a video to advertise their product which was very nice. The app which you can give the commands from using your voice was not created by them, they used it. The commands you can tell the robot to complete were right left forward and backward.
What were the positive things I liked about their product?
For their product I liked many things that included the outer body that they made for the robot as it looks nice and very creative. I also really liked the fact that it was voice controlled as it is kind of a new feature that is very nice. Finally I liked the project itself as I saw that they put effort to complete the robot.
Is their any feedback I can give their group?
Although the product was very nice I can still give them some feedback, for example they can try giving the robot more functions other than the usual ones. They can also make the connection or whatever they connect the voice controlled app with the robot stronger as on the day they had to try several times before the robot got the message and started completing the action - function demanded.
Do I think the product deserves to be in the tech fair?
I liked their product but I don't really think it should be chosen as on the exhibition day it will be very noisy which will cause there product not to work.

Product: Hydraulic Arm
What was the project about ?
The product was something like a robot called the hydraulic arm. It is made of pieces of cardboard, syringes, a hose, a wooden stick, screws and a wire. They made a very nice video that explained more about their product. There product has an arm that should be able to lift some things. I liked their product as I saw they put lots of effort.
What are the positives about their product?
For their product I liked some things that included:
For me it was a new creation that I didn't see a lot of before. The design itself looked nice, tidy and creative.
Is their any feedback I can give their group ?
It was nice but their is some feedback I can give, their product didn't have a lot of technology. They can also be more creative in closing the product.
Do I think the product deserves to be in the tech fair ?
I don't think it should be chosen as it didn't have a lot of technology and doesn't have many functions.

Product: Schematics robot and lamp
They made two products but only presented one as the other didn't work. Their product was made of lots of technology and complicated. I liked the fact that they tried very hard to complete and learned a lot about the use of computers and the ways to function on a computer or a software. Next time they can focus an only one product so they can finish it perfectly and maybe think of a less complicated product so that they can complete it without many problems. I don't think they should be in the tech fair as they didn't complete all their products/projects.

Product: CD 3D project
What was the product about?
It was making/designing a dress/shirt with CD's. They made their product using CD's, a shirt, 3 doodler pen, hot glue gun and scissors. They made a pretty nice video to advertise and inform people about their product.
What are the positive about their product?
I really liked their product as personally it was a new creative product that I've never seen before. I barely saw any product that combined CD art and 3 doodlers. The shirt looked very colorful in the end and it was very bright and shiny. Their product was very nice and I think they worked together very well.
Is their any feedback I can give their group ?
I really like it but maybe they can use a little bit more technology in their product. They can also make more copies of their product ( more than one shirt/ example ).
Do I think they deserve to be in tech fair?
I do think they should be in tech fair as their product is new and very creative.

Product: A video to raise awareness about social media.
What was the product about?
They made a video to raise awareness on social media. It was edited using Powtoon.
What are the positives about their product?
The video had lots of information about the effects of social media and it was also very neat
The PowerPoint had lots of information about their product.
Is their any feedback I can give their group ?
They can add music and sound to the video, they can also add more I found and make a website or another poster.
Do I think the product deserves to be in the tech fair ?
I don't think the product deserves to be in the tech fair as it is very simple and is not attractive. I also think they didn't put lots of effort as it wasn't very clear and they even had to edit something on the day of the presentation which meant that they are not very organised and didn't have many eating to complete and check their product.

Product: Larger model of the Polaroid camera
What was the project about ?
Hey made a larger version of the Polaroid camera and they also made a website about their product. I can see that they have researched a lot about the different parts of a Polaroid camera.
What are the positives about their product ?
They worked together very well and had great communication and collaboration together. They divided the roles very well and caused he project to be very good. They had many sources to explain how the project work and what it's about. The promo video was funny.
Is their any feedback I can give their group ?
They can improve their promo video as personally it didn't explain a lot and they were talking too fast in the video . They could also divide them selves a little bit instead of being 4 in the group.
Do I think the product deserves to be in the tech fair ?
I don't think it should be chosen as I think they didn't have to put so much effort because they were 4 in a group which meant that everyone will have a very small task/role to complete.

Product : Websites to explain the ways of knotting the crochet.
What is the project about ?
She made three websites to explain the ways of knotting a crochet. She used weekly to make her website.
What are the positives about her product ?
She knew a lot about her product and knew exactly what she was going to say. The websites had lots of information for both beginners and experts. The website was extremely neat.
Is their any feedback I can give to her ?
She can put the video she made to show how to make a crochet on the websites she can also put the experts website link on the beginner one so that when people are down the beginners one that can easily access the experts website.
Do I think the product deserves to be in the tech fair?
I think she should as she made a project that used lots of technology and she had lots of knowledge about her product

Product: A game
What is their product about ?
They made a game with 5 levels and 5 stages. The game is called "tech world". They also made thus game on a website called sploder.
What are the positives about their product ?
Their product is very nice and is very addicting. They were the only group that made a game which made them unique. They communicated together very well.
Is their any feedback I can give their group ?
They can make the first few levels a little bit easier so that people continue to play the game.
Do I think the product deserves to be in the tech fair ?
I think it should as the game is very unique and is very addicting.

Product : A holographic projection
What is her project about ?
She made a holographic projection with 4 plastics/ sides. Thus can reflect 4 same image on a devise to create one 3D image in the holographic projection.
What are the positives about her product ?
Her product was new to me which made it attractive. She added lots of info on the PowerPoint which includes the history of her product. Her work was very neat and was laid out clearly.
Is their any feedback I can give to her ?
She could've added some basic info about her product (how she made it etc). She could've also had a large device to present on the day.
Do I think the product deserves to be in the tech fair ?
I think it should as many of the students were very attracted to the product which will make people who see it on the the day entertained and will keep hem enjoyed.
Group: Emma and Azahra

What is their product about?
They have created a game using a website called sploder. There game has five packs each with five levels.
What are the positives about their product?
I liked lots of stuff about their product. These included the following stuff: The fact that it was a fun , attracting and addicting game. It's a very fun game and it's pretty simple to use as there are not many rules.
Is their any feedback I can give their group?
Next time they can make it work on a phone too as this time it can only be played on a computer. They can also give instructions in the beginning (how to move) so that anyone can understand the game quickly and start enjoying it from the beginning.
Do I think the product deserves to be in the tech fair?
I do think it should as personally I enjoyed the game from the first I tried it. I found it very attractive and fun which can make people in tech fair day enjoy their presentation. I think that only one of the 2 groups that did games using sploder should go in the tech fair as both of them are very similar.

Product: A car made of recycled materials
What is her project about?
She made a car out of recycled material.She had a fan made of recycled materials and placed it in the back which helped the car move forward
What are the positives about her product?
I really liked the fact that the product was made of recycled materials. She used many materials that included : A tea box, bottle cap and toothpicks. The product also looked very colorful, attractive and eye catching.
Is their any feedback I can give her?
She could've made the car move faster as now it is moving really slowly. She could've made the PowerPoint a bit shorter and more interesting.
Do I think the product deserves to be in the tech fair?
I think she shouldn't as I believe her product is simple and doesn't have a lot of technology and thus whole topic is about technology projects.

What is their product about?
They made a first person shooter game which was very creative and unique.
What are the positives about their product?
There game is very new to me which made it stand out. It was very unique for me and I enjoyed watching it a lot.
Is their any feedback I can give their group?
They could've published the game or shared it so that the class can see it from the big projector to make it more clear. They can speak louder and they can improve the graphics.
Do I think the product deserves to be in the tech fair?
I don't think they deserve to be in the tech fair as they didn't really have a lot of knowledge about their product and had very low voices.

Criteria A
The Lily Drone Camera!!!
The product that was created is the lily drone camera, for this product all you need to do is throw it in the air and start doing your adventure. Their is absolutely no control for it, it will work alone.
This camera can be very useful in many ways, it is really developed and unique from other cameras as it controls itself, so you can do any activity freely while this camera takes photos and/or videos of you while completing the activity. This is developed as it is the only camera that controls it's self (takes pictures/videos alone.) It is small so you can take it everywhere without having to have a specific bag for it.

Reflection;
My research went well and i think i came up with great results. To find this camera i looked for ("new technology 2015".) I didn't get my results in the first time and i needed to check a few websites. I only faced one problem which was that when i found a creation i found out that someone has already done it so i had to look for another one. I then found this and produced this work.
